The Next Kenny Sia?
Kenny Sia has been reigning as King in Malaysia’s blogosphere for as far as I can remember. The thing about Kenny is, he stands out from the rest of the other blogs. Many young Malaysian bloggers aspire to be like him. Love him or hate him, Kenny is here to stay.
But what happens when there’s a super-duper-fan (read: wannabe) of Kenny Sia? Welcome to BennySia.com, the self-proclaimed brother of Mr Kenny Sia. Whether it is true or not, we would love to know it as well.
Now, what does Mr Benny Sia writes about? Well, as you might have guessed, he writes about his beloved brother Kenny, undoubtedly! Benny posted his first blog post on the 15 June 2008 (you heard it here first!) and managed to garner about 8,600++ visitors within his first 4 days! I mean, what could be more exciting than having massive blog traffic and sharing almost the same site as Malaysia’s top blogger?

Haha, only Kenny knows the truth behind the brother thingy..Besides, I only know that Kenny has a sister but he never mentions about having a brother, though he might not feel like telling everyone how many bro and sis he has..

Methinks he’s a wannabe. Even if he IS really Kenny’s brother, why can’t he step out of his brother’s shadow without riding on his “brother’s” coattails?

I just don’t like the idea of someone riding the popularity of someone else’s. It’s like a shortcut to fame, in a bad way.

I don’t think he can be the next Kenny Sia. Even if he is, Kenny is Kenny. Only one person can be Kenny Sia the Blogger for real.

I think it’s pretty sad that he’s always mentioning his brother’s name is his blog, it’s kind of obvious he’s tryin to gain popularity via association.
But he’s not such a bad blogger, i just think he must find his own identity!

People who know Benny will know that Benny has only an elder sister. That answers the argument if Benny is Kenny’s brother or not. =p

its funny how come he wants to be like him. kenny isnt that great. blah.. benny is only trying to lure attention to his blog by using kenny’s name. so is kenny’s own girlfriend anyway.

I believe that word “sia” brings fame.. If one day I become traffic-crazed I’d probably change my blogname to that..

But come to think of it, Benny’s writing style is so so similar to Kenny’s too. In a good way.
He has that sense of humour that Kenny has. Me thinks Benny is one helluva great fan!
